This book is about this "trouble-maker" kid who does things like encourage new teachers to turn their classrooms into "beaches" (with sand)! When he invents a new word, "frindle", it starts a war with his English teacher that goes farther than anyone expects.

This is a "quiet" book with not a lot of action. But, I think you would like it anyway. It was fun to read, though a little slow at the beginning. The ending totally makes up for the slow beginning! It's the best! By the way, the AR rating seems kind of high to me. It's short and pretty easy to understand, so go for it!
