Lemuel, The Fool

Normal-length Picture Book
Genre: Funny Fiction

Lemuel lives in a village by the sea. He dreams of visiting the enchanted village on the other side of the ocean and decides to set off in a boat one day. Unfortunately, he gets turned around and ends up back in his own home town and thinks that all villages must be exactly the same as his! Satisfied with his explorations, he happily returns home.

I really enjoyed this retelling of a traditional Yiddish story. It was humorous without being mean to the foolish Lemuel. The pictures were great, also! I recommend this entertaining book to everyone.
