Harry Potter is an orphan who lives with his horrible uncle and aunt and their bratty spoiled son. Though he doesn?t know it at first, he also happens to be a famous wizard. Harry is famous (in the magic world) because when he was a baby, the most terrifying evil wizard in the world destroyed Harry?s parents but was himself destroyed (somehow) when he tried to kill Harry. All Harry got was a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt on his forehead. When Harry turns eleven, he is called away to attend his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the adventure begins!

If you haven't read this yet, what are you waiting for?!?!? It is a totally engrossing story, well-written and interesting. This is one of those books you can't put down even though it's 11:30 at night and your parents have gone to sleep and your eyelids are closing! It is a little long but it is so good that it doesn't feel long. In fact, I was disappointed when it ended because there was no more to read (until the next one)! Read it now! Not later, NOW! Even if you've already seen the movie!!!
