Tomie dePaola, one of my favorite author/illustrators, shares about his life as a young boy. If you are a fan like I am, you will recognize many of the things that happen in this book. That is because he often used things that happened in his real life as ideas for his picture books. This short novel is fairly easy to read and informative as well as entertaining. I highly recommend this book, especially if you are a Tomie fan!
