The shuttle bounced and jostled its passengers as it entered the Earth's atmosphere. Jason kept his face glued to the small side window as they glided in toward Earth. He'd made this trip only once before, but he didn't have a window seat that time.

He'd been born in the lunar colony, and his first visit to the Earth had been several months ago. That was when his family had come down to visit his cousins in the PHC, an oceanic colony.

Instead of looking through the heavy transparent domes to the lifeless landscape of the moon, he'd looked out his window in the PHC at a living ocean. Instead of a static landscape, the ocean view was constantly changing...
