This is one of my favorite books from one of my favorite authors and one of my favorite illustrators. "Ah lahk i? a lot!" When Ricky loses the fake mustache his teacher gives him for the Cinco de Mayo play, he is in a panic until his father helps him out.

This is a clever story that captures the bond between a father and son. It is warm and humorous with a happy ending. So what if it would probably never happen in real life. Aren't stories supposed to show what could and should be as well as what is? This story touches me every time I read it, and I love believing it could be true. Read this book if you are a kid or a parent.
